Merchant Benefits of Credit Cards

We have all come across in our travels and use of the financial system during our shopping outings the odd store here and there that accepts only certain forms of payment. Many places, all places actually will accept cash of course. Some will accept bank or debit cards. More will have a list of available credit cards that are open to be used, but restrict the use of certain cards.
